Selectable Sound Profiles

The D6X features three sound profiles accessible via a recessed switch, ensuring convenient and error-free operation:

• Deep: Retains 100% of the classic D6 sonic performance, providing a deep, cut-through-the-mix sound.

• Balanced: Delivers a more balanced version of the D6 sound, with enhanced mids and upper mids for a slightly more traditional kick drum sound.

• Natural: Changes the mic response towards a more linear behavior, bringing even more midrange and slightly altering the high-end roll-off, ideal for miking different sound sources like percussion and guitar cabinets.

VLM Dynamic Capsule Technology

The D6X utilizes Audix's proprietary Very Low Mass (VLM) dynamic capsule technology, which ensures deep lows and precise transients. This technology, combined with a durable and compact construction, provides a reliable and interference-free performance.
