Auralex A324 AuraPanel Wall Panels

Most acoustic panels make you choose between performance and appearance. Foam treatments are effective but industrial looking. Fabric-wrapped panels look better but often use lower-density cores that compromise absorption. The Auralex AuraPanel is designed to deliver professional-grade acoustic performance in a panel that works as a design element — wood-framed, fabric-wrapped, and available in a wide range of fabrics and colors from Auralex's own SonoSuede line as well as premium selections from Liba Fabrics and Burch Fabrics.

The ECOCELL Core

The AuraPanel's performance comes from its 3.7" thick ECOCELL core — an environmentally responsible and sustainable fiber material certified to ASTM E-84 and UL-723 standards. At 3.7" thickness it delivers a Sound Absorption Average (SAA) of 1.13, meaning it absorbs more sound energy than it receives across the frequency spectrum. NRC measures 1.28 at 400Hz — particularly effective in the mid-bass range where many rooms have problematic buildup.

This level of absorption in a single panel makes the AuraPanel one of the highest-performing fabric-wrapped panels in its price range. At 24" x 48" per panel it covers meaningful surface area per mounting point.

Mounting System

The rear wooden support frame includes keyhole slots for simple wall mounting — hang directly on standard screws without additional hardware or brackets. The frame also includes looped cable attachments for corner mounting configurations. No adhesive required. Panels can be removed and repositioned without wall damage.

Fabric Options

Three fabric families are available — Auralex's own SonoSuede for a classic studio look, Liba Fabrics for contemporary colors and textures, and Burch Fabrics for premium residential and commercial aesthetics. The fabric selection makes AuraPanels appropriate for spaces where standard acoustic foam would look out of place — listening rooms, home theaters, corporate environments, and high-end home studios.
