The ND5 XS-2 is UPnP-enabled, allowing you to stream audio files up to 32bit/384kHz resolution from various sources including Naim Audio hard disk servers, NAS devices, or any home computer. It supports a wide range of music formats like WAV, FLAC, DSD, Apple Lossless, and more, ensuring gapless playback across all file formats. For conventional connections, it offers two 24bit/192kHz capable digital inputs (S/PDIF) and two optical inputs.

Intuitive Streaming and Control

Enjoy the convenience of built-in Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, and Spotify Connect, alongside TIDAL’s native support. The ND5 XS-2 is also Roon ready, transforming your music collection into a visually-rich catalogue. Advanced Technology for Unparalleled Audio

Naim's engineering prowess is evident in the ND5 XS-2's streaming section, which uses the latest Naim network card with low-noise, high-speed LVDS to handle digital audio signals. The internal architecture allows the DAC clock to manage audio data flow, ensuring an extraordinary level of precision. The audio signal, processed to a 40-bit accuracy, is then fed to the high-quality PCM1791A Burr-Brown DAC.
