United Studio Tech UT Tube 67
Silky-Smooth Tube Sound. Vintage Soul. Modern Precision.
The UT Tube67 is United’s faithful homage to one of the most revered and sought-after tube microphones in recording history. Modeled after the original 1960 design that shaped generations of iconic recordings, the UT Tube67 captures the unmistakable warmth, depth, and velvety tone of a true classic—now reimagined with modern reliability and precision craftsmanship.
Its NOS 1960s EF86 pentode vacuum tube delivers a creamy, full-bodied sound with an intimate top end, making it exceptional on vocals and equally stunning on strings, brass, piano, drums, and guitar. Across all polar patterns—Cardioid, Omni, and Figure-8—the UT Tube67 maintains remarkable linearity, offering the versatility professionals demand from a true studio workhorse.

A Masterclass in Craftsmanship
Custom United UT K67 Capsule
Each capsule is a dual backplate, 34mm brass design, hand-built and 24k gold-sputtered on 6-micron Mylar in a clean-room environment. Tuned to the specifications of a prized 1970s golden-era sample, it offers smooth, musical frequency response without the harsh resonance often found in modern replicas.
Custom United Transformers
At the heart of the UT Tube67 is a custom-wound UT-BV12 transformer, handmade in the USA with all high-nickel alloy laminations and a copper Faraday shield to minimize RFI. This design precisely matches the legendary low-end tightness and harmonic saturation of the original German units.
Switchable “Air” Mod
A subtle, high-end enhancement switch provides a touch of brilliance and openness—perfect for vocals, acoustic guitars, and overheads—while maintaining the classic 67 tonal balance.
Built to Last, Built to Inspire
Every UT Tube67 undergoes meticulous assembly and testing in the USA, ensuring unmatched performance and consistency. The package includes a high-performance power supply, custom Sommer Octave 7-pin cable, vintage-style storage pouch, and precision shockmount—everything needed for world-class recording right out of the box.
