Construction and Performance

The B124 uses a Class A rated fiberglass core with hardened resin edges — the same core material as Auralex's professional Broadway panels, wrapped in durable acoustically transparent fabric. At 1" x 2' x 4' the panel achieves an NRC of 0.80, making it effective for controlling slap echo and flutter echo — the two most audible problems in untreated rooms. The beveled edge detail creates a subtle shadow line at the panel perimeter that gives the installation a custom built-in appearance, particularly effective when panels are grouped or arranged in patterns across a wall.

The B124 is the right choice for rooms where low-frequency buildup is not the primary problem — executive offices, conference rooms, broadcast studios, and recording spaces that already have adequate bass trapping and need mid/high frequency control with a professional finished appearance. Panels mount directly to the wall using standard hardware or can be offset 1" to 2" from the surface using optional mounting hardware — the air gap improves low-frequency performance and creates a three-dimensional visual effect.
