Honoring a Legacy
Designed in collaboration with Stephen Sank, the Cloud® ribbon mics bear the JRS prefix as a tribute to Jon R. Sank, Stephen Sank's father (1934-1998). Jon R. Sank, known for his work at RCA, contributed to the creation of legendary microphones like the BK-11 and BK-10A. Following in the footsteps of RCA's Harry Olson, the senior Sank played a pivotal role in advancing ribbon microphone technology.
