When you press the talkback button, an integrated omnidirectional microphone activates while simultaneously lowering audio playback levels, ensuring your instructions are heard clearly through the cue system. For added flexibility, an external dynamic microphone can be connected as an alternative talkback source. Additionally, you can incorporate a footswitch for convenient hands-free remote operation, further streamlining your recording process.

The Studio-Q is not limited to professional studios alone; it's also an excellent addition to home studio setups. Whether you're an engineer or musician, this talkback controller enhances your ability to interact with artists on headphones in separate rooms, improving collaboration and productivity during recording sessions.

To provide visual indication of active communication, you have the option to integrate the remote Beacon using a ¼" cable. The Beacon illuminates whenever the talkback button is pressed, ensuring that engineers and producers can effectively communicate over the cue system, even in noisy studio environments.

For added flexibility, the Studio-Q includes an XLR microphone input, allowing a second microphone (such as a producer or band member) to communicate with artists in the vocal booth. This functionality can be controlled using a separate footswitch for effortless hands-free operation.
